As we observe chimpanzees, we see them hunting in packs like our ancestors. When the chimpanzees succeed in a kill, they scream franticly. It’s an emotional release that is completely natural. Men and women do the same thing. Religion took this natural use of letting emotion out and it evolved into these ceremonies where people scream and scream. People in religious ceremonies scream the same way these chimpanzees scream today.
Human sacrifice was so popular back in the day. It was a religious ceremony where hundreds, maybe even thousands of people gathered to watch others die a brutal death for their gods. This act was so intense for people that they were overwhelmed and received a high off of this. The experience of seeing another person perish among a bunch of people screaming frantically was out of this world. That’s why there were so many believers.
It’s natural for people to feel guilty after they’ve done something that feels wrong, especially murder. People have been killing each other since the beginning of time and for various reasons: jealousy, hunger, and ignorance. We understand that by killing a person or even an animal, they take away everything that person or animal had in this world. It’s tragic no matter how it looks. People don’t like to feel guilty so they need a way to cope with these feelings. That’s when prayer was introduced to speak to the dead, to say you are sorry as a form of repentance. These prayers became part of a tradition that later became religious with different ceremonies and rituals. Religion used this idea of guilt to let people know they have a way of letting go of this feeling. Later, they made up their own rules of why people should feel guilty.
Religion has been used to fuel the purposes of doing evil deeds for centuries. The Crusaders went to war against the Muslims not to convert people but to take control over the Holy Land. The whole idea of war has nothing to do with conversion; it has to do with profit. They use religion to stimulate this conflict by telling their warriors they need to change non-Christians into believers because God says they should. It’s all propaganda to incite people. The Germans killed the Jews during WWII because it was good business. Hitler knew it was a political thing, not because he actually hated the Jews. The Jews were the minority so the Nazis could pick on the Jews and blame them for all the misery that happened after WWI.
The people in charge adopt the best religion because the best religion recruits more followers. The more followers a particular religion has, the bigger, stronger and more powerful the leader becomes. The Romans converted their whole religion into Judaism because it was popular. John the Baptist understood that the Romans liked the Jewish religion better than theirs; they just didn’t want to be circumcised. So, John decided to just baptize the Romans so they could be converted. The Romans infused their own ideas into Judaism which became the Catholic religion. They used to believe in many gods, but after Jesus, they started to deify him. It became the same story as Jupiter and Heracles where God sent his only son to be the savior of humanity. That’s why Catholics even worship saints, they became their multiple gods.
Movies like Star Wars have huge followers because it’s a fantastical story that’s appealing to most people. Leaders use the most fantastical stories similar to Star Wars to explain why they are in charge. The Roman and Greek leaders and the pharaohs of Egypt explained they were gods. Underneath the blazon of England royalty, it says that they were chosen by God to be leaders. The fact is they are not moral or godly. As long as religion is in charge, the people become followers, not thinkers. It is essential to keep religion out of our government because leaders will start to believe they are gods.
Thinkers, who are moral, have the right to be protected by the government from religious stinkers, because the thinkers are the ones who will save us all. You don’t need religion or atheism to be moral and godly, all you have to be is humane. It does not matter then what religion you are or not a part of.
Have you ever tried to become friends with someone who is nice and moral and they did not want to be your friend? Well, you may have a problem. Most moral people are friends with those who are also moral. People who are not nice, aggressive and immoral, have a problem with people who are nice and moral. Nice people don’t want to be friends with aggressive people! It’s insane when immoral people become aggressive toward the people who are nice. They should understand why people don’t want to be their friends. The same goes for highly religious people. When people are fanatically religious, they cannot communicate with people who have an open mind. They have to understand why people with open minds don’t want to be around them.
It makes sense why religion has such a strong grasp in the public. Western religions became popular because it made people feel better about themselves. Western religions all started with a man named Abraham who decided he wanted to make a better society. He explained that God loves everybody and that God is not interested in human sacrifice. He believed people are made in the image of God and are chosen to inherit the Earth.
In psychology, when one is told they are something at a young age constantly, they’ll believe it. This is 99% of the reason people are inventors or athletes, or whatever. If you are told you are an idiot by your parents, you will grow up to think you are an idiot. The other 1% determines how smart you are in achieving these goals. Someone probably saw potential in someone, hence the case for why they were told this in the beginning.
The Jews are the best example for why they appear to be the chosen ones. It’s because they believe they are! When you feel chosen, you feel like you have a responsibility that goes with it. You want to behave better.
The Jews have been told they are chosen for a long time and have accomplished many great things for that reason. One example: Hollywood. They not only have a big influence in the entertainment industry, they are also big in finance, medical fields, law practices, and science. Why do you think people say the Jews run the world? These stereotypes are there for a reason. They are only fewer than 1000 of 1% of the world’s population.
While living in Israel, my mother was robbed on day. They caught the guy so she had to go to the police department to press charges. When she got there, my mother asked to see the prisoner. When they brought him out, she noticed he was Jewish. My mother told him, “You must have had a terrible time to go the wrong way and become a thief! Don’t you realize you are Jewish! Jewish people are chosen to be better humans, not criminals! It’s written in the Torah you are chosen to do better.” She gave him a hundred bucks and said, “Straighten out your life” and walked out without pressing charges.
Christianity and Islam, two of the biggest religions, evolved from Judaism and they still have this notion that they are special in some way because they are told that they are better than the animals. This is what makes the Western religions different from the Eastern religions where people are told that they are not better than animals. If you think you are humane, then being humane comes with certain obligations. Just know that we are all chosen to do better.

I have a theory about Moses concerning how he was one of the two sons of the pharaoh Akhenaten who wanted to change the Egyptian religion from polytheism to monotheism. He believed in one God he called Aten. The Jews believed in one god as well so a new religion of Akhenaten was born combining the Jewish religion and the Egyptian religion. Akhenaten was killed by the priests because they would have been out of work. Since Moses was the son in my theory, he understood his father and had to escape to the desert or else he would have gotten killed too. After everything calmed down he came back and demanded his right to the throne. His brother, the new king, came to a settlement with Moses who inherited the slaves to start his own country. Before Moses, the Jews believed that God was some sort of being or entity. After Moses, they understood God was energy.
